I also was with some friends last night, and one of my friends told us of how when he was 4 years (4 Years old!!!) old he was teased and he stills holds that psycological imprint today.
I must raise one point about the article that I personally do not agree with in some cases. Ms. Blackstone writes;
•Don’t use physical force or bully back. Not only does that show anger, but your child can never be sure what the bully will do in response.While if someone is using non-physical attacks against the target I would agree with this statement. However if there is a feeling from the target that their physical well being is in danger then they need to have the offensive mindset.
That being said this is a great article, and as parents of the Bullied or the Bully we need to empower ourselves and our families with knowledge. Enjoy this article.
Bullying, Renee Blackstone
